Welcome to Suhl Animal ParkSituated

in an idyllic meadow valley in Suhl Switzerland, Suhl Animal Park is home to around 500 animals. Particular attention is paid to keeping the animals close to nature in spacious enclosures. The zoo specializes in keeping and breeding European wild and domestic animals. The animal population includes a wide variety of species, from Europe's smallest owl, the pygmy owl, to elks and bison, as well as a small collection of exotic animals in the vivarium. The encounter between humans and animals is an important concern of the zoo. The eagle owl even introduces itself by name.
