Welcome to Differten Wildlife Park

The wildlife park in Differten is a special highlight of the municipality of Wadgassen. Many native animal species have found their home here. The family-friendly park offers many educational and adventure activities for parents and children as well as a restaurant in the Wildparkhütte.

Animal species

Differten Wildlife Park is home to around 70 animals of 10 different species: fallow deer, red deer, wild boar, mouflon, European eagle owl, tawny owl, long-eared owl and the rarely seen black stork as well as Thuringian forest goats and Scottish Highland cattle. There is an information board with more detailed information on each species.

Animal feeding

Animal feed can be purchased at the wildlife park hut for 1 euro. It is strictly forbidden to feed animals with food you have brought yourself, such as bread or corn, as this endangers the health of the animals.

Wildlife park hut

The wildlife park hut invites visitors to linger. In addition to snacks and drinks, the popular game products with meat products directly from the game park stock are also available here. The hut can also be hired for private events.

The hut is open Wednesdays to Sundays from 3 to 6 pm.
