Welcome to World Bird Park Walsrode

Weltvogelpark Walsrode is the world's largest bird park and one of the ten most species-rich zoos in the world. Meet thousands of feathered friends from all over the world and get active yourself at many unique attractions. On an area of 24 hectares, you can experience 4,000 birds from 600 different bird species and one of the largest and most beautiful botanical gardens and parks in Germany. Take part in the daily feedings of penguins, pelicans, birds of prey and baby birds and experience spectacular flight shows that take you on a journey around the world. In the Jungle Trail, in the free-flight hall or in the Toowoomba, you can get up close to our feathered inhabitants. Our park also has plenty of playgrounds for children. The little ones can let off steam in five play areas, from a large adventure playground to a tree house village and a water playground. And if the weather doesn't play along, seven fascinating indoor attractions on 5,000 square meters of covered space ensure an eventful visit.
