Welcome to
The Bad Mergentheim Wildlife Park impresses with over 70 animal species on a total area of 35 hectares. There is hardly any wire mesh, cages or bars here - almost all the enclosures are built with barely perceptible boundaries as natural open-view enclosures. Naturalness and species-appropriate animal husbandry are the main focus. For the most part, natural materials are used for the enclosures and facilities and attention is paid to ecological compatibility in all measures. Experience the animals up close during the tour with the zookeepers at feeding time. The unobstructed view of what is probably the largest pack of wolves in Europe is probably the most impressive thing about the wildlife park. Up to 30 animals suddenly appear in front of you and feed amongst themselves according to rank.
