Wolves, elk, lynx, wild boar and bison, red deer, fallow deer and sika deer, mouflon and marten: the 107-hectare area of forest and meadows offers a natural habitat for 40 species with over 400 animals. 15 kilometers of hiking trails as well as a bird of prey flight show, the domestic animal garden, a forest rope park for climbing and the integrated Hessian Forestry Museum as well as an educational trail about the biggest forest fallacies provide the opportunity to switch off from everyday life. The wildlife park also offers an extensive program of events for young and old as well as a wide variety of themed hikes.
