Welcome to Ark pet park in the Paaren adventure park
Erlebnispark Paaren has had a domestic animal park for a long time. Since 2013, the zoo has been taking in and breeding mainly historical breeds of farm animals that are threatened with extinction so as to replenish stocks and fill the stables and aviaries. For the state fair BraLa 2014, the zoo was accepted into the ArchePark network run by the GEH (German national association for the conservation of historic and endangered domestic animal breeds). The Archepark domestic animal section has not only endangered breeds such as the Thuringian Forest Goat, the Girgentana Goat, the German Saddleback Pig, the Husum Red Pied, Diepholz Geese and German Peking Ducks but also wild animals such as fallow deer and mouflons. In addition to livestock farming, wild animal husbandry is also part of Brandenburg's agriculture.
Plenty of parking is also available for those arriving in their own car.
